Ravelry is the main pattern database for everything knitting and crochet. It has many amazing features and is a powerful engine - if you know how to use it. Let's be honest, it's not an intuitive website, and many people struggle with navigating and using the site. 

We're here to help! In this 1.5 hour class, we'll go over all the basics and some more advanced features. By the time you leave, you'll have a full understanding of the basic premise and usability of Ravelry, as well as a cheat sheet to take home.

• Creating an account (if you haven't already)
• Setting up your profile
• Using the search function for patterns, yarns, forums, and designers
• Understanding and using the 'my notebook' feature
  • How to add items to your favourites / library
  • How to catalog and organize patterns
  • How to use the Queue
  • How to add/organise your yarn stash and tools
    
• How to purchase and download patterns
  
• How to successfully use filters within the search function
• How to upload your projects with all the details
  • Photos, tools, yarn used, colourways, etc.
• How to print your patterns, or how to upload them onto knitting apps
• Joining Groups and Forums

• A Mobile Device or Laptop
  • We suggest the device you'd usually use for browsing and patterns!
